Connect email

Forward inbound emails into Loop with Gmail OAuth or any IMAP mailbox.

Loop turns your support inbox into a chat-style thread. Inbound emails appear in the Inbox alongside Telegram and Instagram conversations. Replies you send from Loop go out as real emails from your address.

Option A. Sign in with Google

The fastest setup if your mailbox is on Gmail or Google Workspace. One click, no passwords.

1

Open Channels and pick Email

In the dashboard sidebar, click Channels. On the Email card, click Connect.

2

Sign in with Google

Pick "Sign in with Google". Approve the permissions Loop asks for (read incoming mail, send mail on your behalf).

Option B. Any other mailbox (IMAP)

Use this for Outlook, Zoho, iCloud, Yahoo, your hosting-provider mailbox, or any address with IMAP enabled.

1

Pick "Other mailbox" on the Email card

Loop shows an IMAP form: email address, password (or app password), incoming server, outgoing server, ports.

2

Generate an app password (recommended)

For Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud, your normal password will not work, you need an app password. Each provider has a settings page that generates one. Use that string in Loop, not your everyday login.

3

Send a test email

From any other email account, send a message to the connected address. It should land in your Loop Inbox within a minute, and the AI reply (if enabled) goes out from your address.
