Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of your Loop account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to data that Loop LLC ("Loop") holds, including data connected to the messaging channels you have linked, such as WhatsApp and Instagram.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion in one of two ways.

1. In the dashboard

While signed in to your Loop dashboard:

  • Click the user icon in the bottom left.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Open the Danger Zone section.
  • Select Delete Account and follow the prompts to confirm.

2. By email

Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, and tell us that you want your account and data deleted. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we proceed, to protect your account.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we delete the personal data associated with your account, including:

  • your account and profile details;
  • conversation content processed through the Services; and
  • channel connection data for the channels you linked.

We complete deletion within 90 days of a confirmed request. Backups are deleted on their normal backup cycle.

We may retain a limited amount of data where we are required to by law, for example invoices and other financial records we must keep under applicable accounting and tax rules, or information needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Any retained data is kept only for as long as required and remains protected.

If you are an end customer of a business that uses Loop

If you have communicated with a business that uses Loop and you want your data deleted, that business controls that conversation data. Please send your request to that business. If you contact us, we will support the business in handling your request.

Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we can confirm completion on request. For any question about deletion, contact:
